Imagery policy
No charity has received anything yet. The charity wallet is a live mainnet address, and a picture placed next to a zero total would imply an outcome that has not happened, so the site does not carry one.
- Used
- Diagrams and charts generated from on-chain values, the product mark, token images uploaded by the people who launched those tokens, and the social card.
- Not used
- Photographs of people, stock charity imagery, illustrated beneficiaries, and decorative backgrounds. This applies whether or not a licence would permit it: a licence cannot grant the right to imply a relationship that does not exist.
- Token images
- Chosen and hosted by each token’s creator, fetched from the URI in its metadata. They are not reviewed, endorsed or selected by this site.
- If that changes
- Any photograph of a person would need that person’s informed, revocable consent, obtained in a language they read and not conditioned on receiving anything; the person named rather than used as an anonymous example; and the situation shown in its wider context. The standards adopted are the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messages and Commitment 1 of the Core Humanitarian Standard.
- Advertising
- Claims about where money goes are held to the general-impression test in the ASA/CAP guidance on voluntary-sector advertising: individually true elements must not combine into a misleading impression.
